The Friends have organized a Quiet Day at Ferrar House on Saturday 29 September 2018, which will be led by the Revd Malcolm Guite.
Malcolm is a well-known member of the Friends, who has led the Pilgrimage and preached at the Eliot Festival, and also performed at the Eliot Festival. He is a leading poet, with several collections of poems to his name, and writes a weekly column on the back page of the Church Times. He is also chaplain of Girton College, Cambridge.
There will be a charge of £30 for the day, which will include lunch and refreshments, as well as the use of Ferrar House. Places can be reserved fro free at Eventbrite, and money collected on the day.
This follows last year’s inaugural Friends’ Quiet Day, which was led by the Revd Ally Barrett, and took place on a glorious September day, so that we were able to sit and muse outside in the lovely garden and surrounding countryside. We hope for similar weather this year.
