Member of the Friends, Frank Burns, is cycling from Huntingdonshire to Rome to raise money for victims of the Haitian earthquake.

Frank, who lives at Buckden, just down the road from Little Gidding, is hoping to get to Rome in two weeks, following the mediaeval pilgrimage route, the Via Francigena, between Canterbury and Rome. The route was first walked by St Augustine when he walked to Rome in 598.
