Nicholas Ferrar Day and the AGM of the Friends 2013
The annual commemoration of Nicholas Ferrar takes place at Little Gidding on the Saturday closest to his feast day, Saturday 7 December 2013, with a celebration of Holy Communion at 10.30am. The Bishop of Ely, Stephen Conway, President of the Friends of Little Gidding, will preside and give the address. The AGM of the Friends of Little Gidding will follow after lunch.

Commemorating Nicholas Ferrar at Clare College
In recent years we have commemorated the ordination of Nicholas Ferrar as a deacon on Trinity Sunday, 4 June 1626. This year we shall again join with Nicholas’s old college, Clare College, Cambridge, to celebrate this event with a service of Choral Evensong, followed by dinner in the college Hall, on the evening of Sunday 9 June.
Eighth Annual T S Eliot Festival 6 and 7 July 2013

This year’s Eliot Festival at Little Gidding is on the weekend of Saturday 6 July and Sunday 7 July. Put the date in your calendar and diary now! Tickets are on sale very soon.
Little Gidding Pilgrimage 2013
This year’s Little Gidding Pilgrimage will take place on Saturday 13 July, and will be led by the Revd Alan Hargrave, Canon Missioner at Ely Cathedral. For more information, follow the link.

Canon Vernon White: Sermon at Clare College

On Trinity Sunday 1626 Nicholas Ferrar was ordained Deacon in Westminster Abbey. On Trinity Sunday 2012, the Revd Vernon White, Canon Theologian at Westminster Abbey, and an old member of Clare College Cambridge (Nicholas Ferrar’s own college) preached at a service at Clare, attended by many members of the Friends. Bishop of Ely’s Pilgrimage Sermon
Stephen Conway, the Bishop of Ely, and President of the Friends of Little Gidding was leader of this year’s Pilgrimage on 19 May, preaching at the morning Eucharist at Leighton Bromswold, giving reflections at the the five stations on the Pilgrimage Walk, and preaching again at Evensong at Little Gidding.
