Visitors and pilgrims are welcome to arrange to hold services or acts of worship in Little Gidding Church. However, for legal and safeguarding reasons these must be agreed in advance with the Chaplain, Fiona Brampton. Please contact Fiona revfiona@norleigh.org.uk at the earliest stage if you wish to take advantage of this, so that she can ensure the necessary procedures are followed and your service can take place.
Notice from Great Gidding PCC
Although we welcome groups of visitors and pilgrims to hold acts of worship
in St John’s Church, any such act of worship must be arranged through the
Chaplain, who has to check that necessary safeguarding protocols and
procedures are followed. Please contact Fiona Brampton as soon as possible
to make the necessary arrangements. This is a Church of England requirement
and the PCC of Great Gidding with Steeple Gidding and Little Gidding reserve
the right to lock St John’s Church if we understand any unauthorised acts of
worship are planned. We hope this final action will be unnecessary.
