Fifth Annual T S Eliot Festival

This year’s Eliot Festival is on Saturday 17 July.

The programme for the weekend is almost finalized, and will contain the usual mix of speakers and poetry. The day will include a choral reading of ‘Little Gidding’; a major update by the editors of the new project to publish the complete works of Eliot, poetry, plays, essays and other writings; the annual lecture, this year by Professor Jewel Spears Brooker on ‘Epiphany and Return in Eliot’s Writing’; and a conversation between Eliot lovers Dr Ralph Townsend and the Revd Angela Tilby. The day will conclude with a service of choral evensong at which Angela Tilby will preach.
